Mr. Conry joined AIG in 1987, and in 2004 joined AIG Investments to assist the Chairman and CEO to set and execute business strategies to successfully grow the firm into a more significant contributor to AIG. Prior to joining AIG, Mr. Conry was an insurance industry specialist with Coopers & Lybrand, and then CFO of Citibank’s US Consumer Insurance businesses. At AIG his initial assignment was Chief Auditor, reporting to the Chairman and AIG’s Board of Directors, followed by Chief Financial and Operations Officer of AIG Risk Management. Subsequently, he helped launch the Company’s Six Sigma program and was a director of AIG’s Corporate Mergers & Acquisition Team. His most recent prior assignment was Chief Financial and Operations Officer of AIG Star Life Insurance Co., a Japanese company acquired by AIG in 2001. Mr. Conry received a BS in Accounting from Queens College. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of New York.
